Hello 2011!

A new year, a new start. Homeschooling is in full swing around here. We're looking forward to new adventures and experiences, and feeling glad that we made the call to bring the boys back home. They are all signed up for classes and lessons, and I think I'm going to enroll Liam in 4-H so someone can take on the task of training our crazy puppy.

I have a little time off-call after a busy month in December. My practice is growing, and it's been a bittersweet year of joys and sorrows. I'm now planted in my home office and am sure I'll enjoy the low-key nature of being home and having all my books and equipment in one location.

I intend to move firmly into the land of urban homesteading this year. I'm enjoying learning new things in the kitchen, making canned goodness, and intend to start raising chickens this spring.

Looking forward to a year of discovery and reflection! And maybe even an effort at capturing these moments in pictures and words. Happy New Year!
